Program Dates

Gene’s Fine Foods, Mar-Val and Pacific Market Community Card Program is all year.

Contributions

Up to 5% on all purchases based on the following:

1% between $0 - $99
2% between $100 - $199
3% between $200 and $299
4% between $300 and $399
5% between $400 and $2,499
0% over $2,500

If your monthly purchases totaled $650, your contribution earned would be $22.50, like so:

(1%*$100) + (2%*$100) + (3%*$100) + (4%*$100) + (5%*$250) = $22.50

How To Earn

Present your registered Gene’s Fine Foods, Mar-Val and Pacific Market Community Card (available at stores) when making your purchase using the payment method of your choice.

Use of your registered Gene’s Fine Foods card, Mar-Val and Pacific Market card is required at checkout to automatically track your purchases and contributions to your organization.

Effective September 21, 2012, the Mar-Val Community Card replaces the student enhancement program/community service program.
Effective September 21, 2012, the Gene’s Community Card replaces the eScrip credit/debit card program.

The eScrip suite of secure applications requires users to provide contact information (like their name and email address), unique identifiers (like their group or supporter ID), financial information (like their account or credit card numbers), and demographic information (like their zip code). We use customer contact information to send the user information about our company and possible promotional material from some of our merchant partners. The customer’s contact information is also used to contact the visitor when necessary. Financial information that is collected is used to check the users’ qualifications for registration with the program. Unique identifiers (such as group or supporter ID) are collected to verify the user’s identity and for use as account numbers in our record system. Demographic and profile data is also collected at our site. We use this data to tailor the visitor’s experience at our site, showing them content that we think they might be interested in, and displaying the content according to their preferences.

In addition, we may receive Personal Information, as well as other information about you from our merchants, such as purchase transaction(s), order number and date and time of purchase. We process such information in accordance with this Privacy Policy. Participating merchants may have different privacy practices and we encourage you to read their privacy policies.

Surveys

From time-to-time we may provide you the opportunity to participate in contests or surveys on our Site. If you participate, we will request certain Personal Information from you. Participation in these surveys or contests is voluntary. The requested information typically includes contact information (such as name, email and/or mailing address) and demographic information. We may use this information to publish contest winners, to monitor site traffic or personalize the site (in the case of anonymous information collected in surveys) and/or to send participants an email newsletter. To our participating merchants to enable them to track which of their customers use our Service. We require that our participating merchants and vendors agree to process your Personal Information in accordance with our instructions, this Privacy Policy and any other appropriate confidentiality and security measures. These types of third parties are not permitted to use your information for any secondary purposes. We maintain a multi-tiered system with no direct access to the database.
